At Lennon Butchers we are passionate about both celebrating and supporting the Scottish agriculture industry which has been a major part of our country’s economy for centuries. Our commitment to sourcing locally combined with our loyalty to Scottish farmers means that all of our meats come directly from Scottish farms.
We exclusively use Scottish beef which is matured ‘on the bone’. The result is a tender, succulent and perfectly marbled slice of beef which is packed full of flavour. We have an excellent selection of cuts to choose from such as silverside, topside, sirloin and brisket, and as with all our meats, great care is taken to ensure that it comes from ethical suppliers who take great care in raising their produce. Our lamb is available in a range of cuts including shanks, cutlets, loin chops and mince. Lamb is a versatile and hearty meat which is used across a number of cuisines. It goes well with Indian spices, and we love how it can be used to elevate simple meals to give some serious flavour.
Pork and chicken are arguably the two most versatile options on the market and we take great care in sourcing both from the finest Scottish farmers who share our passion for celebrating the quality of Scottish meat and poultry. Our pork has a deep, succulent flavour and is available in a range of cuts from the always popular pork chops, to ribs and sausages. Our chickens are just the way we believe they should be – juicy and tasty – and are available in a variety of cuts from thigh, breast, leg and even the whole bird, which is ideal for a good family feast.
